This is one of my top ten road albums of all time. This well mixed, finely crafted album has aged very well. Whatever Truck is doing these days, I hope he's winning.

Pictured above is a photo of a Toynbee tile on W. Franklin Street. The picture is courtesy of Baltimore Or Less. With all the construction that has happened in the area just this year, I'm not even sure the tile is still around. No worries, though. There are still a few dozen placed around the city.
The Eubie Black Cultural Center is a cornerstone of Black history in Baltimore. It is an active performance venue in honor of the rich legacy and heritage of the great ragtime pianist. My bestie Mon and I visited the center in December for Kwanza. There's literally a bronze bust of Ebie's hand on display. It's wild.
