Morricone Youth was a definitely a moment for me. The show only aired a measly six years on East Village Radio (EVR) before the internet station closed its doors. However, in that time, Devin Eleven (pictured above) and his sometimes co-host Gray Delores helped expand my music library and open my eyes to the world of film scores. Check out this episode from 2009 hosted by Gray Delores.

Let's face it, Taco Bell is gross. You know it is. But, who doesn't love hard shell tacos? Quorn meatless chicken strips isn't exactly vegan (among its ingredients are reconstituted eggs), but its got a good texture, it sauté's well and absorbs seasoning very well. Fresh spicy salsa, shredded cabbage, and dairy-free shredded cheese (a sista is lactose intolerant AF) in a hard shell made for a delicious meal.
Pharrell created an apparel line for Adidas Originals named "Hu Holi" that the company claims is inspired by the "magic and beauty" of the Indian religious holiday and the internet promptly dragged them for cultural appropriation. No word on whether or not Pharrell has plans to create a Kwanza inspired line. The rededication comes nearly six-months after the removal of statues honoring failed confederate General Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson. Imagine me smiling like Miss Ernestine Jones Williams, picture below, who is the six-grand niece of Harriet Tubman. Photo by Algerina Perna/ Baltimore Sun
