If you listened to this week's episode, you know I'm over romance novels - especially BWWMs. It's sci-fi for me all the way. Books in the vein of Steven King's writing style and general macabre imagination is right up my alley. But, I still want to read books with Black woman protagonist. Call me picky, but I want to see my self in the books I read. Like I mentioned in an episode a few months ago, I read Justina Ireland's "Dread Nation" with little effort. I loved that book and I cannot wait to read the sequel. Anyway, please don't hesitate to share any juicy sci-fi recommendations for books that you are reading. I'd love to build my wish list.
